Michael Lightfoot

1As Intellectual Property counsel, Michael serves to protect a company’s interests in its Intellectual Property (patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets), software licensing, contracts and related legal affairs.

Michael has vast experience working with startups to Fortune 500’s, in operations, technology and App development, intellectual property, business disputes, domestic and international business, mergers and corporate governance.

Michael served as the Senior Attorney for Motorola’s Corporate Research & Development Group for over a decade, representing business units in Texas, San Francisco, Chicago (HQ), New York, Boston and international units worldwide, in business negotiations technology acquisitions, licensing, and software development.

In his role as legal counsel & coach, Michael is instrumental in counseling a Company’s management regarding business planning, technology development, sales and distribution (including licensing, software as a service (SaaS), channel and partner alliances, consulting, delivery, maintenance and pricing).
